    Faciliated by Angela Heyun

The guidance for Fascination is improvised for the group and the moment. I draw inspiration for explorations, language, concepts, and facilitation style, from many incredible people and practices. I will reference specifically in the session, and I want to share my gratitude in general first!

Primary inspiration for Fascination comes from... Annamari Keskinen & Ryan Mason (Thar Be Dragons), Julian Barnett (Personal Poetics), Motoya Kondo (Butoh), as well as Nita Little (Contact Improvisation, Relational Intelligence), Ruth Zaporah (Action Theater), and the Authentic Movement practice. More inspirations includeVangelis Legakis (Contact Beyond Contact, Integrative Somatic Arts), Julyen Hamilton (Theatre Works, The Supported Body), Maja Hanna (Theatre of the Alive), Bela Crowder (The Embodied Heart), Hallie Dalsimer (Ensemble), Karl Frost (Body Research), and Tina Afiya-Breiova (Axis of Action).

Participants describe my facilitation style as… immersive, action-packed yet surprisingly spacious in feeling, oriented towards embodied practice and self-discovery, clear brief and inspiring in demonstrations, imaginative or inspired by metaphor and imagery, enlivened and grounded, high-permission and welcoming of being as we are now.
